Experienced, solutions-oriented Air Traffic Control (ATC) operations and systems analyst and design consultant with over 30 years of notable success in operational Air Traffic Control operations and supervision; and NAS automation support and management at the facility, regional, and headquarters levels in direct support of FAA mission goals.

  • Track record of increasing responsibility in diverse areas of the ATC operational environment
  • Hands-on experience as an operational controller, supervisor, automation specialist, terminal and en-route automation manager, regional automation specialist/supervisor/manager, and FAA headquarters project lead
  • Demonstrated capacity to lead team efforts to success in a wide variety of efforts including resolution of inter-facility airspace issues, NCP development and analysis, system deployments, training, order and procedural development, user interface, etc.
  • Adept at developing creative, operationally suitable, long lasting business practices and resolutions to a wide variety of operational and automation issues. Received numerous cash awards for products developed and for coordination of a national NCP consolidation effort
  • Track record of success in managing several major automation system deployments (e.g. Host installation at Los Angeles ARTCC, Honolulu Offshore Flight Data Processing System (OFDPS), Host and Oceanic Computer System Replacement (HOCSR), ARTS IIIE, etc)
