Miss Hovater is a professional attorney with more than 8 years experience in legal and business environments and in human resources. Her expertise lies in helping organizations increase productivity and improve market presence while developing and implementing new strategies.

 

Miss Hovater has worked with business owners to identify and analyze their current structures in an effort to improve their processes or to implement new processes. She also aides these business owners in the development of strategic business plans. She has solved such business development issues as securing investors into a multi–state business growth environment. Miss Hovater has solved these problems by assisting business owners in the development of effective communication skills for better interaction with investors and distributors. The impact of her efforts is increased profits and business expansion for her employers and clients.

 

Miss Hovater has served as a human resources professional for a total of 8 years with Sullivan & Associates, The Quitmeier Martsching Law Firm and Trustee Management Company. She has classified job positions and matched them with candidates, recruited through networking, marketing and interviewing potential employees. In conjunction with hiring, she worked with various insurance companies to negotiate benefits.

 

Miss Hovater was able to reduce each firm’s budget by taking on the added role of human resources specialist. Her efforts increased the productivity of each company which had the added benefit of raising company morale.

 

While working for Trustee Management Company, Miss Hovater managed the Company for about 8 weeks. She achieved resolution on several time sensitive tasks without direct supervision, developed more efficient methods of performing office practices and recruited additional attorneys. Miss Hovater’s management successes had the overall effect of increasing the company’s monthly profit.

 

While working for Sullivan & Associates, Miss Hovater recruited and hired an employee for a specialized assistant position for a specialized lawyer. She analyzed the work environment and then developed a profile for the ideal assistant. She managed the advertising and interviewing of each potential employee and evaluated each according to established standards. She then trained the new assistant in accordance with company’s needs. The right assistant allowed for a more efficient office and a more effective use of the attorney’s time which resulted in increased profits and more clients.

 

Miss Hovater also collaborated in the design and implementation of the law firm’s updated website. The firm wanted to use the internet to generate more revenue potential, grow their client base and increasing community recognition.

 

Miss Hovater planned networking events in the downtown area and managed the marketing of the firm’s services across Kansas City. The firm was able to successfully increase its client base and increase profits which created the need for expansion into Overland Park, Kansas.

 

As a consultant, Miss Hovater has analyzed growth and shrinkage potential for several companies by assisting in the research of various departments and job positions to determine maximum efficiency of time and man power. Her efforts led to increased efficiency and company profits through the evaluating and restructuring of the employee workforce.
